History…

 

It was in 2016, while I was on top of a mountain, climbing the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island, that I dreamed of a co-op business for local gardeners. This involved organizing urban gardening/farming and helping people grow honest, clean, healthy food locally. I am here now developing that dream. Let me know if you would like to be involved.

 

Our food system is far away from us. It is built around a system of profit. As taxpayers we pay giant businesses to grow our food as cheaply as possible. At the cost of our health. Food grown in soil with artificial nutrients, sprayed with harmful chemicals. All to make it easy and profitable to grow food.

 

In all of our yards is space to grow food. With my help and with your help, we can grow healthy food easily, and close by. Why bring food from other countries when we can grow food in our yards and with the help and consideration of our neighbors?
